Costa Del Mar: High Performance Glasses, Hats & Accessories for Men & Women

A brand built for adventure, Costa Del Mar sunglasses offer rugged protection and perfect clarity in almost any environment. In 1983 fisherman Ray Ferguson and his friends came to realize that there weren't any sunglasses hardcore enough to handle their many trips exploring in extreme environments. So they decided to build their own pair, carefully designing lenses and frames with excellent sun protection that could handle the intense ware and tare of their many adventures. And so, Costa was born.

Today Costa sunglasses are some of the best on the market for outdoor use. Costa Del Mar uses cutting-edge polarization technology and offers amazing UVA/UVB protection, making them perfect for life on and off the water. It is hard to understate their quality; with Costa sunglasses, you will have durable protection and superb clarity every time. But beyond this, they are a brand truly committed to protecting the environment, with huge initiatives to reduce plastic waste in the ocean. Almost all their sunglasses, including the Mens Costa Fantail, are built using Bio-based resin in their frames, which drastically reduce waste.

Costa is one of our favorite brands of sunglasses at OutlandUSA.com, and their display even sits proudly in our front office. Costa makes the kind of sunglasses that can last for years, or even a lifetime. From the lenses, to the frames, to the hinges, every part is quality. And even if something does ware out or break, Costa offers an amazing repair program for nearly every pair. Also, while there is almost never a Costa DelMar sale, many of our coupon codes will work if you're hunting for a discount. If you're unsure about which pair is right for you, feel free to reach out to us with questions, or check the FAQ bellow.

 Questions & Tips

Q: Where are Costa sunglasses made?

Most Costa sunglasses are hand assembled in a Daytona Beach, Florida workshop because Costa has yet to find a machine that does the job as well as a real, live person. They receive parts for the sunglasses from all around the world

Costa Sunglasses assembled in their Daytona Beach, Florida workshop are examined by no fewer than eight pairs of eyes before they ever shield yours. It's the only way they know how to keep the high standards needed to confidently back every pair of Costas with a limited warranty.

Q: How do I care for my Costa sunglasses?

A lens cleaning solution and a premium microfiber cleaning cloth are your best bets for keeping your Costas in top shape. Keep them in their protective case, away from extreme temperatures (translation: don't leave them on the dash of your pickup). Regular tightening of your hinge screws will also help maintain your frame. Follow these guidelines and your Costas will help you see what's out there for years to come.

Q: Can I get my sunglasses with Rx lenses?
While we don't yet have an Rx option on our website, if you reach out to us we may be able to special order your sunglasses.
